Bright Futures Camp is probably one of

my favorite projects that I have had the

privilege to lead because you’re dealing

with youth

it just really Sparks their interest in

math and science and kind of exposes

them to the amazing careers that they

can have in the sector that they might

not have thought of otherwise

there’s so much more than just being an

electrician you can do many careers that

are behind the desk or on site and you

can work with your hands or you could

work with people

it’s a line of work that gives me the

freedom to really put my own stamp on

things and make a difference in people’s

About the Greening a Generation Program

As part of its mission to strengthen the ability of the Canadian electricity industry in meeting the current and future needs of its workforce, EHRC is committed to implementing an educational, creative, and engaging program that will help elevate renewable and non-GHG-emitting energy within the national consciousness.

Focused on engaging all Canadians, and in particular young Canadians, EHRC’s Greening a Generation project will highlight electricity’s importance in our energy sector in addition to providing a guideline as to how the electricity industry will be available to young Canadians as a vehicle to address key issues as well as we provide career opportunities in the electricity and renewable energy sector for years to come.
